The restaurateurs should do marketing to reach more customers and differentiate themselves from competitors. Professor Warren Solochek from DePaul University Business School says, “And until there’s some sort of vaccine that makes people feel safe, it’s going to make things difficult for operators. Younger people are more willing to go to restaurants, but the same can’t be said for older generations. So, there’s a big group of people not participating in restaurants.” This means outdoor dining service will continue in the coming year.
